Local Routes

Here are a few of our local routes that the club run regularly. 

There is a huge amount of choice of routes though and always a friendly face who is happy to show you any you aren't familiar with.

Beginners 5k Route

This is the standard route we use for our Monday club runs during the Winter. It is almost exactly 5k in length, but has loop back options at 1 and 2 miles so is perfect for complete beginners and those looking to up their distance to a 5k goal. 100% road and 100% street-lit route.

Beginners 3.5mile Trail Route

For those looking for a taster of trail running this flat loop is a great introduction. This is the shortest route used on our summer trail runs when the evenings are light, and there are always Aardvarks to show the way over the weekends.

Hill Training

The hills are in the old part of the village, and are where our hill sessions take place during some of our Wednesday progression sessions. Our sessions are designed for complete beginners to ultra-athletes and are a great opportunity to get everyone together whilst dramatically and efficiently improving your running.
